Step-by-Step Guide to Updating the ArkOS 2.0 Firmware on Your PIXL POCKET™ Directly from the Device by Phone.
One of the great features of ArkOS 2.0 is the ability to update the firmware directly from the system itself, making the process fast and simple. Follow these steps to update your PIXL POCKET™ firmware.
1. Connect Your PIXL POCKET™ to your phone
- Power on your PIXL POCKET™.
- Plug the USB cable between your PIXL POCKET™ and your phone that is connected to the internet.
Make sure you are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid interruptions during the update process.
2. Access the Update Option in ArkOS
- Once connected to Wi-Fi, return to the Settings menu.
- Scroll down to find the “Update Firmware” option (or a similar option depending on the version of ArkOS you’re running).
- Select “Check for Updates”.
- The system will automatically check for the latest version of ArkOS 2.0.
3. Download and Install the Update
- If an update is available, ArkOS will prompt you to download it.
- Select Download to begin the update process.
- Ensure your phone remains connected to Wi-Fi during this process.
- Once the download is complete, the system will ask if you want to install the update. Select Install.
- Your PIXL POCKET™ will now begin the installation process. The device may reboot during the process to complete the update.
4. Completing the Update
Once the update is installed:
- Your PIXL POCKET™ will reboot and load the updated ArkOS firmware.
- You can confirm the update by going to the Settings menu and checking the System Information to verify that the latest version of ArkOS is now running.
5. Enjoy Your Updated PIXL POCKET™
Your PIXL POCKET™ is now running the latest ArkOS 2.0 firmware. All system improvements, bug fixes, and new features are now available for you to enjoy.
