The PIXL MINI PLUS™ operates on Onion OS, a highly customizable Linux-based system designed specifically for handheld gaming. This system offers a user-friendly interface and seamless emulator management, making it easy to navigate between games and settings.

The PIXL MINI PLUS™ is powered by the Allwinner A33 chipset, a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU, paired with the Mali-400 MP2 GPU. This setup supports a wide range of retro gaming emulators, ensuring smooth gameplay across various platforms like Game Boy Advance, NES, SNES, and PlayStation 1.

Memory (RAM) and Storage

The PIXL MINI PLUS™ comes equipped with 128MB of DDR3L RAM, which is sufficient for handling most retro emulation needs. It also includes a 64GB TF card with thousands of pre-loaded games, and it supports TF cards up to 128GB, allowing users to expand their game library easily.

Display

The device features a 3.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The screen offers excellent brightness, color accuracy, and clarity, making it ideal for retro gaming. The full lamination screen ensures reduced glare and better visibility in outdoor lighting.

Audio and Connectivity

The PIXL MINI PLUS™ includes a built-in mono speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening. Unlike larger models, it does not come with Wi-Fi, so multiplayer or online features are not available. However, the sound output is crisp, and the headphone jack is a standard addition.

Battery Life and Charging

The device is equipped with a 3000mAh battery, which provides up to 5 hours of continuous gameplay on a full charge. Charging is done via the USB-C port, and it typically takes about 2 hours to fully recharge the device.
